A Functional Capacity Assessment is a comprehensive assessment used to assess a worker’s ability to meet performance demands and postures of their specific job or role.

Ergonomic work station assessment will recommend the most efficient set up and equipment options.

Functional Capacity Assessment

A comprehensive assessment to assess a worker’s ability to meet the performance demands of their job or role. This assessment is usually completed for a worker that has an injury, illness or pre-existing condition and concerns exist regarding that worker’s ability to safely perform their job.

Workplace
Assessment

A workplace assessment is conducted with an injured worker. Work duties are assessed with suitable duties/ modifications developed to best manage the worker’s injury.

Office Ergonomic
Assessment

Ergonomic assessment asses’s how a worker physically performs in their work environment. A report with recommendations of modification and equipment options is provided.

Pre-employment screenings

A pre-employment screen is completed prior to commencing a job. It assess’s the potential worker’s health and ability to perform the physical job requirements. Pre-employment screening templates can be developed for your work organisation requirements.

Manual Handling
Training

Manual handling training delivers education about how to safely perform manual tasks. Training is developed by performing a worksite assessment of the specific manual task requirements to determine RISK factors. A practical component training allows workers to apply theory to manual task applications.

Work Task
Analysis/Job Dictionary

Work Task Analysis/Job Dictionary evaluates the key job tasks. A detailed report of the physical job demands and physical performance components will be provided. This will include relevant task photo’s.

 

PhysiOT will prepare a thorough assessment of a workers physical capacity to determine suitable duties, manual handling requirements, assistive equipment and injury risk factors.

The final report will make specific recommendations for the worker’s health requirements.

Recommendations will be directed to a worker’s recovery plan from injury, prevention strategies and minimisation of an aggravation of an injury to ensures full recovery and maximum comfort at work.
